Lisa Chiya
President / Founder
Lisa Chiya has spent the last two decades helping people build families via egg donation and surrogacy. Her purpose in life is to assist people in one capacity or another. She founded Modern Doula Center on that desire to educate and support mothers and surrogates through the pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum recovery period. Lisa received her doula training at Bini Birth in 2017.
She is also the President of The Genesis Group, a board member for SEEDS (Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy) and a board member of Ambition, which is a non-profit school-based entrepreneurial program for disadvantaged youth.

Jennifer Dominguez

Jennifer first discovered surrogacy the year after her daughter was born. Although she didn’t struggle with infertility, she had close family members who had. After some research, she began her first journey in 2008, which was an eye-opening and heartwarming experience. She could not wait to do again. She went on to complete five successful surrogacies from 2008-2015. Including her own pregnancy, Jennifer has been pregnant 6 times and delivered 7 healthy babies.
Today, Jennifer is the admissions manager for the surrogacy program with a prominent agency in Southern California and in 2017 became a Doula.
